the subaru's are 15.9 gallon tank and if you drive it till the end of those 15.9 gallons i'm sure you can get well over 325miles on one tank. prob. close to 400 if its all freeway.

I have only had mine a week, its a 02 wagon and the best that I got was 22mpg out of one tank, worst was 16.5mpg (That was the first tank But I am not to worried about gas milage because I didn't buy a WRX for its mileage, if thats what I wanted I would have bought a Civic.
Just enjoy driving the car and dont put too much thought into it.

I have an 04' wrx with the prodrive stage 2. Since my turbo kicks in around 2900rpm (man is it nice not to have to ever downshift out of 5th gear on the freeway to pass other cars!), my gas mileage has gone down but no lower than 18mpg. When i do drive on the freeway, I get decent gas mileage but it could be better if i didn't always drive 80mph. I use arco and costco gas becuase it's the cheapest here in southern CA at roughly $2.25 a gallon. My average tank get anywhere from 265 to 300 miles. There was a great article in this/last months "car and driver" that did the 1year update on the wrx wagon. The drivers noticed that when they switched to 17inch BBS rims the gas mileage suffered and that when they drove over 70mph on the freeway it also suffered. They also pointed out that tire pressure is key.

Maybe there is something wrong with my car but when i drive normaly I can almost see the gauge drop. I never have a full tank and usually fill it to half but when you top it off it seems like the first half goes by really slow then all of the sudden when it hits the half mark it just starts droping like a brick.

That darn FORCED induction
Step on the gas and that little whirly thingy sucks more fuel and air into the engine! Can't quite compare it to an Outback can we.
And here's a bit of info for anyone contemplating an intake...
I loved my Blitz SUS, ran it for almost 2 years , made all kinds of noise(one of those cool mods with no noticeable gain deals)! Average 19MPG
Put stock box back on (with silencer mod of course , I have to get some aural satisfaction) and ...boom... average 24MPG , best all freeway miles @25.5MPG.
So with gas prices where they are at and our local piggy population very hungry for budget augmentations , I think I'll keep that stock air box like everyone said to do from the begining!
However , if any one is doing a FMIC on a 2002 you have to have a filter like the Blitz for piping so PM me for a deal

Horrible Gas Mileage
Just curious, Im getting like 220 miles to a tank, is that normal? I have a blitz dual drive BOV, and im suspecting that maybee the car is running a little rich? Even when i had the stock valve, the gas mileage still sucked... I would appreciate your imputs..

THe bov doesn't help with gas mileage and the car's mileage naturally doesn't get as good as other compacts out there. I usually get around 250 or so before I fill up, and that's not with the fuel light coming on. If your car is new, your mileage should get a little better with time.
