I've noticed that GC8 drivers tend to acknowlege everyone, GC8 and WRX both. But it seems that most WRX drivers tend to ignore the GC8's. Probably most of them don't know what it is.

Im my town there are tons of WRX's, I know most of them, but when I see a fellow Impreza I make sure to flash my lights or give a wave.

Yeah, its pretty friendly beween wrx owners where I live in So Cal. There usually a waive of some sorts. But I did come across a teenager in an STi. I waived then he decided to dust my *** off the line. How rude. lol

I'm from England and although I've been here in the Bay Area for 4 years, all that high fivin' stuff is still strange to me, but if I see another scooby with a scoop I'll acknowledge and respect with a flash (of fogs!!) or a wave.

I like to share the love and give ppl a wave when i see them in their wrx's or gc8s, however, i've found a lot of times i see them going the opposite direction in the outside lane and I'm really far away as well. Besides its kinda hard to wave at blur passing bye... if ya catch my drift

Some folks are busy or pre-occupied. I know that I concentrate on traffic a lot more when I have my 3 year old daughter in the car with me.

In my somewhat small town, I know of two other WRX's and a guy with a tricked out RS. I always wave and always get a response. But in general, if I drive in the D.C. area I don't get squat!
Oh, I did get a thumbs up from a dude in a EVO, I thought that was pretty cool considering.

I used to wave all the time out of habit (I've been driving a 914 around for over 15 years and since the car was/is disowned/renounced/ridiculed by just about everybody owners always acknowledge each other - I guess it's the bastard child thing).

When I first got my Rex, I would wave to everybody since there were so few on the road. I quickly stopped this practice because often times I found I was waving to Sr. citizens who gave me

looks or looks like I was some sort of diranged maniac who was going to follow them to rip off car parts. Now I look before I wave.

I wave if I see you in time. What sucks is that lately a lot of people aren't even waving back, and it's starting to **** me off - I think it's because I rarely see people from the club.

I always wave to the GC guys too - they almost always wave back
