That's what most peeps thinks, well i dunno if most do, but if you look at the subaru sites, subaru is really japan.

I blame SOA for this post...

And Impreza's are built in Japan. It says it on the door if you dont believe us. Subaru is a Japanese company.

The whole "outback" thing is strictly an advertising gimick to sell cars, and Subaru has no relation to Australia other then that they sell cars in Australia as well...

(You know, I wouldnt be surprized if a large chunk of the US population still thinks Subaru is an Australian company...)
