Worth it??????
Ok many of you say droppin the clutch from 5k is gonna kill your transmission or whatever. If thats so, wont it be harder for you to race people in straight line if you can't drop from a good level? I am planning on a straight line car and i know you will say well WRX isn't for you then, but i love them. awd and just everything is great about them. I just want to make a smart choice in purchasing a new car. If you think they droppin from 5k isn't a problem say it you think i should get something else say it want me to stick with the badass WRX say it. thanks all..........

From my experiences, dropping the clutch doesn't yield the faster times. I drive a 4EAT but drove numerous 5spd WRX's. Slipping the clutch until you go then dropping it out is a better way for me. You should hear a chirp and very good launch if you do it properly.
Think about it this way, I'd rather replace a clutch from numerous slipping than the tranny from numerous dropping.

Sliping is when you slowly let off the clutch rather than just rapidly removing your foot from the clutch pedal (which would be a drop)
