I'm having the same problem, taking it easy through the break in. I just picked up my Silver WRX from the same dealership in Thousand Oaks last Wednesday. It only had 7 miles on it and couldn't be happier.

Have fun, it'll be broken in soon.

i drove so much during my first two weeks that within a month I had topped 2k miles... i would drive for an hour every day after work along twisty levy roads... fun stuff.

btw, i know that you spend countless hours just staring at your car in awe... wean yourself away from that!!
