when do you need speed?
Don't get me wrong.
include here most of people hate speeding and street racing and
illegal stuff. and i totally understand! (i'm one of them)
it's just curiousity.
from what i understand,
in the US highest Speed limit is 65mph in the highway.
most local roads have 40~50mph limit.
and if you didn't racing with other cars,
when do you need power and mods that you got?
parking lot drifting or racing practice is clearly illegal.
and basically, fast starting is illegal and dangerous.
also many cars can't pass the state test because of their tunning.
so left one is track racing. but how many ppl actually
go track periodically...
WRX and especially STi are designed to go fast, then
when do you usually use their power?

I accelerate up to the speed limit, on-ramps, quiet country roads. I hate street racers and people who drive stupid fast but there are times that I think are ok to drive illegally as long as you know what your doing.

I like to cruise pretty fast on long highway trips, fast enough to want a radar detector, but I never do it when there's any other cars even remotely nearby.
Also, as illegal as parking log antics are, it's damned near impossible to enforce, there's always a million secluded, safe places to do it.
Actual street racing is for turds though, no reason to be putting other random people in harm's way.

What horsepower?
But I do always use my cars superior handling abilities whenever theres a corner and nobody in front of me. I have no reason to slow down for them, because I dont have to

I use the power all the time. Getting up to speed, passing some jack *** on the highway who decides to go from 45mph and speed up when I'm trying to go around him..too bad for him on that one.
