Try doing an "internet search" or something, man. Come on.
Just so you know, retrieving the information found at the below link took me less time than it did to type out this witty reply.

Car Info: Pearl Blue 2000 impreza rs
the 98 to early 2001s are the older body style and have the hood the 2001 to 2003 are the bug eyes and of course the new ones. The only different spec they have is the cars weight i believe but im not completly sure. and they are great cars. I have a 2000 with 70+ thousand miles and i have had no major problems. the only problem i have had was with the o2 sensor which was on recall.
Why be hard on this guy theres no problem with starting up a convo.

Also....
98-99
Two door only, alot of gold 5-spoke wheels....kinda boy-racer
2000-2001
Option as 2 or 4 door- 4 gets low wing not high. 6-spoke wheels in silver.
Other than that some color options. Mostly the same throughout.
The 2002 and up RS is different, because it is the base model, you need to option it to get the spec of the old RS (98-01 RS" was top of impreza line) by the time you get the RS or TS up to the level of the old RS, the WRX is only a couple of grand away.
I hope this answers your question
P.S. the 98-2001 RS has the hood scoop- its not functional. Its there to look cool (actually I heard somewhere that they needed that hood to fit the 2.5-don't know if I believe it or not.)

98- 2-door only, DOHC engine with MAF sensor(seems to be kinda prone to head gasket failure), 5 spoke gold wheels, also only year Bright Red and Arcadia Green where offered on the RS, and only year we got the RS with the less agressive front bumper with the small foglights (same bumper as on the Impreza Outback Sports).
99- 2-door only, SOHC engine with MAF sensor, 5 spoke silver wheels, and first year of more agressive front bumper with big foglights (carried on throughout the GC-GM 2.5RS life)
00-01- 2 or 4-door available, SOHC engine with MAP sensor, six spoke silver wheels, rear LSD. 01 had fake carbon fiber on dash standard, while it was an option on the 00.
Power peaks are very similar between the DOHC and SOHC (SOHC has slightly more peak), but the SOHC has a much broader torque curve, with up to double the power available at lower RPM's as compared to the DOHC.

Having recently driven a '98 after my '01, I would say that the older MAF cars pull a little better at high RPMS (5000+) but the MAP cars dominate on the low end torque. It's surprising how much difference it makes. Leads me to believe that stand alone tuning on an otherwise near-stock EJ25 would be worthwhile after all.
