I too am interested to know. I spoke to a sales rep today that said somewhere around 22800, stock would be the best they could do... I am going to see if I can get that with the carbon fiber trim and the short shifter. Let me know what happens.

 

i paid 24000 even for my 2002 silver sedan wrx with 4eat and spoiler. I bought the car in august of 2002 when the 03 were getting ready to come out. The automatic transmission was hard to find. I had to look in like 5 states for one. I hope this helps any. You will luv the car. The 03 is almost the same as the 02, The 03 has the lighted key ring around the ignition. Sometimes when it isd ark trying to find the ignition is a pain in the butt.

 

TMV in Irvine, California is $23,333, and I heard Irvine Subaru has this price. A lot of people said WRX will or can sell below invoice this march/april because of a re-designed MY04

 

i got the painted side skirt, tinted windows, gauge pack, and upgraded stereo and alarm for 23,500. heheh somehow i got a good price on it =). say that you're going to buy 2!!

 

I got a wrx wagon last week for $1K under invoice ($21.7K w/ alarm, extended armrest, autodim mirror, and cargo tray). I think You can only get the 0% financing for 2 years though. Bargain hard and let the dealer know that you know about the $500 factory to dealer incentive subaru is running.

 

i was told that subaru dealers get $500 over invoice for a normal sale......that's the regular markup!!!

 

what i did was go between two subaru dealerships and let them see who can go the lowest I ended up getting my 03' wrx with a spoiler for 22,600 I probably could have gone lower too but I didnt want to wait any longer for it

 

in the middle of doing right now.... One dealership said 22700, so I got the other to do 22600 with the carbon fiber, alarm and short shift kit. I'll let you guys know how it actually turns out. I need to sell my bimmer first.

All this for $23,100... I think I did pretty good...

 

I'm getting my (new) 02 wagon (silver) for 22,500. Includes armrest extn., rear bumper cover, wagon mid spoiler, wheel locks, and little door/wheel guards.

After weeks of research, I basically came up with a price which I felt was acceptable to pay for such an awesome car, and made the offer through the dealers website. Without any hassle, they accepted. Then I told them about my trade in. <grin>

So maybe I could have gone lower, but ask me if I care, I got my dream car for a price I felt was fair and didn't have to deal with *any* b.s. (I am not the haggle type anyhow).

Can't wait to pick it up next week!
