Loud paint, neons, lotsa audio gear, etc..., basically making F&F cars. Now if only VIP tuning would catch on over here...
Anyway, people are entitled to do whatever they want with their cars, and honestly, you shouldn't express your opinion about anyone's car but yours unless someone asks. You don't like that guy's car, don't build yours like that.

Auto Salon and all that are a completely different story. They are made up for the specific purpose of showing off the manufaturer and the parts he makes. They are supposed to be bright, flashy and stickered. On the street it's a completely different. If some guy actually had the money to make his car exactly like one of the auto salon cars I'd say he has the right to put as many horse power stickers on as he wants because he would probably still kick my *** even with a 50 pound block of cement strapped to his car. Then again I'd still probably make fun of him because he spent around $100,000 on his car. But thats just me.

Erm, supo-comu (Sport-Com[pact]) is not the typical Auto Salon style entry at all. If you read Option 2 magazine, supo-comu is the crap you see in Dai's Dress-Up showoff sections. And if you're in the Yokohama and Odaiba areas, or on the Kanjyo late at night, I guarantee you that you WILL see Auto Salon-worthy street cars. They're also very common in towns like Chiba, and from what I've heard places like ***ui and Kitakyushu/***uoka City.

Oh, and you can also spot Auto Salon-worthy rides late at night on the Wangan and Rainbow Bridge as well, and from what I hear they're on the Hanshin Expressway in Kansai (especially Osaka to Kobe) too (I'd like to see for myself too, since I haven't been to Kansai yet... Ah so many reasons for me to visit Kansai )
