Car Info: TXS tbe, perrin goodies, v7 sti struts...bla bla bla lots of stuff!
This is IF I get that car by the 30th... I HOPE I DO... but....
It would be under my dad's name (he's 55 I think) and it would add another $1100 a year. Insurance considers it a performance car... If would be a lot more he told me if it was just under my name.... $2000+ a year.
I'm 22, have no accidents or tickets..etc. My father has also had a completly clean slate.

$1510 per year for $100,000/$300,000 full coverage $250 deductable with Allstate fro an '04 WRX Wagon. I'm 34, clean record, no claims, living in Los Angeles County. If I lived 11 miles further north, it would only be about $700
note: IF (afterall, "IF" is why we have insurance in the first place) you get in an accident and someone is seriously hurt, 'normal' full coverage insurance is not going to be enough to cover medical costs...if you can afford it, bump it up it doesn't cost too much more. For example, I think my 'normal' full coverage price was about 1350 per year. Pay the extra $10 bucks a month.
FYI, I'm not an insurance salesman. I saw my friend lose his house to cover legal expenses, court fees and settlements, etc when he accidentally hit a 17 year old girl that walked out between two parked cars. Broken pelvis, shattered thigh knee and calf, I think it took her over 18 months to walk again. After his insurance ran out, he was liable for the rest of all the bills.

Yeah, I agree its always best to spend a little more on full coverage. Im in the same boat as you mjones. I live in a city so my premium is about $700 more than it would be if I lived even 3 miles further than where I am. But the cars are worth it.

Collins, Mjones,
If you guys are in SoCal check out Wawanesa Insurance. I'm 38 with a clean driving record, my premium is $800 a year full coverage with a $50K/$100K coverage and a $300 deductible

Wananesa Ins.
Thanks for the info. I'm down in Orange Co. ; my premium is $1200 a year for less coverage [30K/60K]. I don't have any tickets or accidents, and have been with my ins. co. for 14 years. I'll try to get a quote thru the web. Thanks, Collins

haha, that was what I was hoping you meant. Did your rate drop a lot when you hit 25? Ive heard it does, but im 23 and dont see how there is too much of a difference as ive been driving for 7 years now. Gotta love insurance.
