What does everyone pay for Insurance

Im about to get my wrx and was just wondering what people pay for their insurance. Ive got a clean driving record and im over 21. I do live in Boston so im sure that wont help. Anybody from Mass, what company do you go with? Ive got One Beacon right now for my motorcycle but Im not sure how good they will be for a car. Ive heard StateFarm is the way to go.

Wrll, just to update you guys. Keep in mind that Mass is the only state in the country with messed up policies as far as driving and insurance. In fact, progressive, gieko, state farm, and most other big companies dont even insure in Mass. But Im going through the company I use for my bike. Im gonna end up paying 2200 a year with the 500 deductable. I might opt for the $1000 deductable since he said I would save a significant amount So if you move to Mass be wary of insurance. Oh, by the way, Ive gotta wait about a week to get my car cause Mass doesn't issue temp plates and I bought the car in Ny. Gotta love taxachusetts!!

here's just my 2 cents. IMHO i think AAA IS costly, BUT there's a good side to it. I know a friend, he got into an accident, and he was with eastwood insurance (some of those cheapo insurance craps advertised on TV) well, it's been 2 years...and his claim is still going thru a lawsuit so that can be a total bummer. however, AAA on the other hand, will pay for ur costs dealing with accidents and theft and what not immediately, and in our cases, even our mods to the car, *AS LONG AS U HAVE THE RECEIPT* to it, AAA will pay for it

i have progressive and have had an accident and a beakin/theft and i didn't need reciepts or anything, they just gave me a check for the amount they thought the stuff was worth and let me do with it as i pleased

progressive has good rates and fast no hassle when it comes to claims

Yeah, in any other State I would go with State Farm cause they have good service and are very inexpensive. I had progressive when I used to live in Ct and I found them to be pretty expensive. Unfortunately Mass doesnt have too many companies to choose from. iLoqin, im talking about per year, not every 6 months.

Damn Dieselclown, thats a lot of money. What company is that with? Have you tried Sate Farm because I hear they are good as well as inexpensive. If your last accident was at 18 then it wouldnt be in your record anymore. I had one at 18 also, im 23 now and its not on my record. The best I could get in Mass is 2200 a year.

i'm not sure if you guys have mercury or wawanesa in your state but here in CA so far they are the most inexpensive, with my insurance (Wawanesa) they paid me right away when I got in an accident, they declared my car total wreck and in 1 week I got the check from them.
