what to do with my new found money
ok i have a MY99 2.5RS and i also just sold my project car. a 69 cammaro sold it for 16k i am not really in the mood to start another project and i though that i would just sink the money into my scoobie. i am going to use 8000 to pay it off so that leaves me with another 8k to buy performance parts what does everyone think i should buy with it. currently it is bone stock but i have a cobb tuning CAI in the mail it should be here by the end of the week so a CAI is out but what else should i get. keep in mind i want to go FAST!!!!!!! i am not to concerned with body. but i would like some thoughts on lips and sideskirts. also i need wheels i am going with the prodrive p2's but what should i wrap them in? give me your feed back. oh and i am going to buy seats as well what does everyone have or what are you going to buy i want good seats because i am going to be doing some rallying

a nice rear sway bar
better struts and springs (or coilovers for that matter!!!)
2.5 turbo kit from AVO?? hehe
if not, a nice exhaust
or a wrx engine swap
short shifter
the possibilities go on and on
very good thing to get the wheels and tires though. sorry no suggestions on tires
seats i really like the Sparco Torinos, and would like to pick a set up this summer. fully adjustable, and they good great.
or you could go straight into rally car mode, and put a roll cage buy some goodies, and run production, or maybe PGT. that would be my choice!!

hummm full on rally car sounds very nice
what would that include keep in mind this is my only car so it does not have to be street legal but it has to look it. dont want to be getting pulled over all the time because i have not interior parts and a big blue rollcage hehe but what kind of suspension setup should i look into for doing rally i plan on doing everything tarmac, dirt, snow (no lake racing to risky for me i dont want to give my baby a permenant bath)

i would say some good coilovers. the obvious choice for rallying would be DMS 50mm's. but those are pretty expensive. you might find a used set in good condition though. you could get some less expensive struts and springs that would suit your needs. some upgraded brakes would be in line. a good rally computer, like a terratrip or something similar. and you would need the roll cage. thems the rules. a few extra sets of wheels, and tires. rallying is pretty hard on stuff like that. but if you just wanna race production, and once in a while its not as big a deal. its not quite the same level as Open or Grp. N. having good setup for some rallies would also allow you to race auto x as well. not quite as hard on the car.
check www.scca.com under pro rally for car rules and limitations.

did a quick search for you. checkout www.subesports.com. look under rally equipment. i was also look at the scca's site under rules. some interesting things on there. you should check it out if you haven't already. gives you all the breakdowns for classes, and whats allowed on each car.
