U-ho gas smell!
I have got a horrible raw gas smell in the cabin every once in awhile when I come to a stop. It had gone away for awhile but recently came back. Though while the smell had gone a decrease in my MPG hadn't. I used to get about 300-330 miles outta a full tank now I get around 220-200. This last one was 200 miles on it...thats about 15mpg!!! I havent done anything to my car at all except put 18 in p1 and s03 on em...I no longer have a warrenty cause the dealer screwed me over by giving me the toyota warrenty plan rather than the subaru gold plan like they had said...I am a bit pissed but anyways gotta be a leak somewhere. Anyone else have this problem? It started right after a dear ran into my car last november...wonderin if that may have soomething to do with it... anyways any ideas what to do about it?

the deer hit you?
Wait a second, did you say a deer ran into your car? Was it parked? Did it hit the side of your car while you were moving? If the contact was on the front end, the deer did not run into you, you ran into it... I know it seems like it was the animal's fault, but stop blaming nature for your mishaps.

nope the motherfer hit me! I ll post the pics too...as i ment to a couple of months back...but yeah i was going 40 mph in a 45 and i had slowed to about 5 mph but the stupid thing ran into the front right side and rolled down the entire right side of the car damaging every panel on the way too....If the damn thing had stayed there after i had gotten out though i would have started to hit the thing thats for sure! It was a huge buck too.

Thats the kind of thing you just wish you had on tape, huh? Reminded me of the scene in black sheep (or was it tommy boy)?

It's pretty reasy. Start with the two bolts at the front of the seat bottom, Then the rest will show up as you remove parts. It's mostly tabs, not a lot of bolts. Check www.soobymods.com
