turbo care
I use to own a '91 MR2 Turbo and the Owner's Manual stated that you should let the car idle before turning it off if you were hard on the turbo. Basically, if the turbo was under load it stated that you should wait 20 -120 seconds before turning the car off, in order to let the turbo spin down (and not burn up).
My question is: does the WRX require this as well? I know some cars have pre-oilers and things like that to keep the turbo from burning up, but I've never heard of anything like that for the WRX.
Comments on general turbo care for the WRX would be great.

It is recommended that you let the engine idle for a couple minutes after hard driving before turning it off, or just don't drive hard for a minute before you get to your destination. There is no need for a turbo timer, but some people get them just for peace of mind.
