can you tow with a wrx?

with the wagon, yes, up to 2000 lbs...with a sedan it isnt recommended

Why is it not recommended with the sedan but okay with the wagon? I thought they were mechanically the same car

i think cuz of the way the wagon is built...doesnt it have a longer wheelbase n stuff? im guessing on this

Bikes are light, I don't see a problem with that. I was thinking of towing kayaks but unless I buy a really long one, I'll probably just get a roof rack.

I think the main issue with towing is that the 2.0L in a WRX doesn't have a whole lotta guts in 1st so you don't really want to try and tow anything heavy.

I don't see why the sedan would be any different to the wagon either, you got a link for that awns?

I have a friend who tows a SeaDoo Sportster jetboat with his all the time. He said it works great and its a sedan BTW... In fact the other day when he tried to pull it up his mountain of a driveway with his 2WD F150 the other day it almost got stuck because one wheel was on the dirt. Thats an open diff for ya. He said the WRX never has that problem

Genuine subaru trailer hitches are of the bolt on design. Only the wagons have the mounting points in the uni body. This also true for the legacy line also.

Sedans also have mounting points on the frame/unibody.. Believe me, cause i have a hitch on my 2002 WRX sedan...

Subaru hitches are sold for the wagons only. If sedans have the mounting points , there for bike racks only. I have never seen the trailer wiring harness in the sedans.
