You don't have to smog it, the 06 m.y wouldn't need to be smogged until 2010. You just pay the smog xfer fee in the registration process.

I am going to test drive it tomorrow. They dont have any WRB in yet 5 door so I will have to wait til they get one with the Navigation package. I am only gonna be able to get it if my payments stay under $500. If they can do that then I will have a new car.

If not i will have to wait a year and either get an 2010 or get a 09 thats been on the lot a while to have them take some cash off.

The dude at the dealership says this is their first 09 and I will be the first person to test drive it. I feel like this is meant to be. Its a sedan though but i want a car that has 0 miles on it or as close as possible. I bought my car with 372. It was the test drive car. I dont want the test drive car this time. **** that.

They will go on the new scoob. They fit on anything. plus i have universal mighty mounts. i will just have to adjust them for the new car.

You can bet your *** i am getting the clear bra this time around. I am sure the blue paint on the 09 is just a ****ty as every other year.

I am so excited i may not be able to sleep. if they say i cant get it for less than 500 a month well... i might have to go test out those suicide barriers on the GG bridge....

but i will be super bummed.

Get a 2009 Subaru if you can afford it that would be a
very nice vehicle to own.
If they offer you a good deal don't pass it up and I'm
sure you will get a excellent trade in value too.
Let us know how it go's.

So i drove it today. What a freaking awesome piece of machinery. You can def feel the extra power. I told the guy when they get it in i wanna drive the sti just for ****s n giggles.

It feels so nice, It is quiet as hell too. My 06 wagon sounds like you are on the inside of an airplane when you are doing 65 on the freeway. Nope not this one. It is super quiet. The seats are hella more comfy too. It handles very nicely and they put some good *** stocker tires on it too. I dont remember exactly what they were Dunlop High performance somethign or other. 225/45/17.

The dash and the interior are BEAUTIFUL. The only thing that is wierd is where they put the interior door handle. it is unusally high. it has a AVG MPG reader on it. I kept it at a solid 9.4 during my test run. he let me drive it for a while too. i put like 16 miles on the thing.

It has heated seats, mirrors, everything. The model i drove today was a sedan. I really wanted to drive the 5 door but this was the only 09 they had. I hope none of you guys buy the car i test drove today. Because i pushed that engine hard. YOu should never do what i did to that car not a car that has 8 miles on the odo. That hp mixed with that torque i was putting us back in the seats every gear change. I took it to 100mph on a backroad to the salesmans discontent.

Overall. Great power, very comfy, nice and quiet. good sound system. It felt like a semi-short throw shifter too. not to much room between gears. And the clutch...that was crazy. it was so soft, so easy to push. i have never drivin a car with a "racing clutch" but i heard it doesnt require much effort. this one required less. i stalled the car 3 times coming out of the parking lot. after that i was fine. it made my clutch feel like a big rig clutch when i drove my car home.

I go back on Sunday with the wife to talk about financing options. I think it might be over my $500 a month budget so I may not end up getting it this year. $30,000 with NAV package. I paid $28,000 out the door after lo-jack and tax and all of this other crap i had the dealership do. but we will see. the wife will be on her 13th day of work the day before we go. so i gotta pull some extra weight around the house to do some serious *** kissing.

i will keep everyone updated. there is a 50/50 chance of it happening right now.

yeah but the nav can play dvd's its has bluetooth so i dont have to wear that stupid *** ear piece and it plays dvd's. you can supposedly play gam systems on it too. its the little extras that will make the car better.

One of the things that are cool is bakes and clutch linings are covered under the WEAR warranty. if you og through them before 36,000 miles it replaced under the warranty.

the d3 also has bluetooth and a dvd player, also the subaur dvd player will not work when you are driving the car.
