Tell me about ur warrenty issues
hey suby crew!! I have a 2003 wrx.. has about 3500 miles on it and is already going into the shop for warrenty.. the problem is that the header gasket or something coming from the engine is having an exhaust leak issue.. Is this normal to already have to go in the shop... I did the break in perfect and i do not stomp on my car really ever.. here and there on the freeway, but thats about it so far.. Has anyone else had this issue already? If not what other kinds of things have u guys had to take in after only 2 damn months..? And last, are these just normal issues that happen when owning a new car? Thanks guys!!!

It's not a normal issue, but having some warranty claim on a new car isn't anything unusual. Exhaust leaks are easy to find and replacing header gaskets is pretty easy, it should be a quick fix. I wouldn't expect any trouble unless your car is heavily modified.

Car Info: A limousine with a chauffer
I've got ~6300 miles and I've had one warranty issue.
My seat would move around while driving - not a ton of movement, but noticeable and would make me VERY uncomfortable. The seat would make a popping noise and move forward or backwards during acceleration and deceleration.
I took it in to the dealer, and the retard service techs stated that the movement was normal. I went back multiple times over the course of three days to show them the movement, but they said it was normal and wouldn't take care of me.
I went home, took the shroud off the left side of the seat and found a loose bolt. Tightened the bolt and now the "normal" movement no longer occurs.
HMMM. *******s.

Tell me about it
The first suby I purchased was a Outback. In the first 2000 miles I had a claim for the auto shift linkage (in twice). Then as soon as I got it back from war # 2 I got pulled over for a non-working tail light. It turned out that the harness had been pinched. That time it was in for a week. I was so pissed off at all the trouble that when they called me back in to pick it up, I refused the car. I told the dealer the only way I was going to leave w/ a car would be if they upgraded me to the WRX, the nice shinny black one. Next thing I knew, I was handed the keys and the rest is SPOOOLING history
