I was chatting today with a good friend and fellow STi owner and we were talking about what will Subaru do with the addition of other Japanease manufacturers producing super cars like, Nissan's Skyline, Toyota's Supra and Lexus with the new FL etc.(I think Honda is coming out with something killer too). I was just wondering what you all thought or would like to see Subaru do potentially, if they wanted to be more competitive with world class super cars like the ones I have listed. Possibly something with a turbo charged H6? Hatch or coupe etc. Just want see what everyones thoughts were.

They do but not from the factory.. Only in the aftermarket sect, for example, Perrins 06 STI w/ a turboed flat 6.

I think theyd team up with some other company and make something and call it a P2 maybe

 

I hope Subaru comes up with something nice that
is a turbocharged flat four and a coupe not a hatchback
hopefully.I heard people talking about the turbocharged
H6 STI but,I never seen pictures of it though.

Humm no, something like that would never happen. And if it did there'd be no way it would make it in to Subie mags or be featured in a top Uk motoring show. EvAr.

You can't rally a super car, so it'll never happen.

Also, Toyota is a super gay for letting Lexus take over their sport car production.

skyline and supras are not super cars

 

A re-do of the SVX with a twin-turbo H6 would be nice... not exactly supercar, but definitely a contender for Supra, Skyline, etc... they could even make it RWD and I'd still be stoked...

 

I can't believe what I am reading..the STi is a super car. :P
