Here's the deal. Recently I sold my brand new Subaru Impreza to move and join Americorps. Anyone who knows what that is knows that you are broke.

So, long story short.....I haven't had a car in 5 months and I'm looking to find a super cheap car to get me through the rest of this year that won't die or cost me an arm and a leg.....get the point?

So, I ran into someone that is selling a Subaru 1990 Justy for $400 dollars. Yeah...first instinct is it's gotta be crap. But I say can't hurt to look.

Here's what I am asking you guys. I'm going to take it to a mechanic, but what do I look for? what do I ask? etc...

Opinions on whether it could be worth it
