I was coming back from my once a month long trip from northern california back to Southern california (where I am stationed) and had two cool things happen that hd to do with WRX's. For one I saw in person one of the 2004 WRX STi's it was on the I-5 northbound and it was deffinatley a STi. Huge scoop on the hood, gold rims and the un-mistakable front facia, I almost creamed myself, lol. When I pulled into buttonwillow to gas up with my buddies I saw a guy with a super clean Silver WRX wagon with gunmetal OZ rims. With the Sti fresh on my mind I decided I would go up and talk to the guy and check out his car. Now with nissan people you can usually go right up to them and start up a conversation about their cars and they are usually very receptive and will talk your ear off, but I did not expect that with a scooby owner because I have found that most other car people are snobs when it comes to their cars. But this guy was very cool, and told me about his car, that had huge stoptech brakes in the front slotted and drilled brakes in the rear, super nice gunmetal OZ wheels, and some motor work done from what he said. He also reffered me to this site when I told him that I was planning on buying a used '02 WRX when my 200sx was paid off in 5 more payments. I wish I had more time to talk to the guy but I wasnt the one driving. So I found out what you people already know, that subaru owners are pretty cool.

 

I've only had my car a month and every time I see a fellow WRX driver we always wave to each other. It really is pretty cool.
