Someone Told me.. Is This True...
someone told me, that our WRX have tracking systems, like if they get stolen or something we can track them.. Is that true, does that come stock on the car, cause i recently bought one, so i was curious... if this is true i should expect a lil lower rate on my insurance...

Not true. Maybe some dealers can install it as an option (the aftermarket can do it) but it wasn't a factory-available option for the model year 2002.
OT - you might get a better response to your posts if you use the Subject line to state part of your question, for example:

lojack
like he said, its called lojack, i almost got it on my 95 legacy (bought it used from a dealer ty subaru in ct)... guy at the dealer was trying to talk me into it, it was like 700$ or so, but included the security system. as far as i know the dealer puts it in. basically its just this little chip that goes somewhere hidden in your car and theres like a bunch of places that it can go, and like you were asking, yes it can be tracked. i just never got it because i have a 95 and im not sure if a 700$ alarm is really worth it. as far as i know it doesn't come standard; its an option.

Is your insurance that high? Are you that worried about your car getting stolen? If so, then yeah it may be worth spending the money, also (and I may be mistaken about this) my understanding is that not every PD has the equipment to track a car that has lojack installed in it (may be that now it is done from a central location?)

yea thats kinda true, my ful coverage is 5200 a year. i dont know why maybe its cause i own a WRX in nj, they said lowjack would take off 550 a year, and a new upraged more efficent security take off another 200, and window etching 130 extra thats almost a grand in savings , im deff. doing the window etching..
