Slight Vibration
When I first get on the highway in the AM (I live in New England so figure 35 degrees) I feel a slight vibration..almost like the car is out of alignment...but after like 2 or 3 minutes it goes away...
I have an 02 WRX with new sp5000's
thanks
Any ideas

I had a friend have something like that happen, make sure the lug nuts are all tight! even if a few on one wheel came loose it will vibrate a little. This probibly isnt the reason but i would check them anyways to make sure.

Could be flat spots on the tires. If its warm when you park it a small flat spot could form . When you start off in the am (cold) the flat spot just takes a little while to work out.
This used to be a common problem years ago but the newer tires don't normally have this happen.
I have the SP5000s and have yet to experience this .
A balance/alignment problem can be eliminated.....neither would go away after you drove for a while.
OK its just another thought.

I have noticed this on my car. IT is a 1997 2.2L, but it don't matter. For me, it appears to be an issue with my tires having a flat spot as lakepop mentioned. OR, since tranny oil is so damn thick, maybe in the cold weather, the tranny isn't getting lubed up. If you feel it in the steering wheel, I would say it is the tires, if you feel it in the stick shift, I would say its the tranny, if you feel it more through the seat..its the *****.
