Okay, what exactly does the silencer silence? Is it just the air going in the intake? Will removing it improve the whoosh that the turbo makes? Can you hear the stock bov (or recirc or whatever) after removal? How much of an improvement (sound wise) is it? Are there other ways to increase the Whoosh sound? Eric.

 

i just did mine a few days ago and im pleased with the new sound it makes. you can actually here the turbo begin to spool up, you can hear the by pass valve, and if you floor it you get a deeper sound from the engine. personally i can actually feel the turbo kick in now when i floor it and hit 4 rpms. hope that helps
