anyone have a tune guide or wanna offer advice for tuning a 94 stock base model impreza? got a basic idea of what i wanna do, just need some newbie advice! thanks!

 

What do you mean by rebuild? Totally tear the engine down, and rebuild it back up, or just doing a big tune-up on it? Looking for more power, or just doing maintenence on it?

 

a lil bit of everything... the car is pushing 212k miles... trying to make it a sleeper!!! im a big suspension buff... and want the engine to be able to handle nothing more than a small turbo...

 

I would strongly recommend an engine rebuild B4 turboing an engine with that kind of mileage. Otherwise, you'll be putting in major $$ and time in a car that might only run a few more thousand miles. I have a 98L with 80,000, and I wish I would have taken more time and truly rebuilt the engine to be reliable with higher horseys. Oh yeah, and buy a pre-made kit unless you are a Subaru expert. It's a great and very fun car, but that's all for not if it doesn't run or runs like poop. Just some issues for you to consider...

Cylinder bore or score
