Power Button on auto
Hi All!
I would like to know how the power button on the RS2.5 works for you on the auto.
I have an SRX with is a WRX NA. w/ AVCS, custom intake manifold from Subaru, 4-q1 header from factory.
I do not feel any difference with the button in or out.
Let me know what you think.

i am going to take a guess at this
a lot of toyotas have a button that is labeled ect. this button is supposed to be a power button of some sort. however you can't really tell any difference when it is engaged. from what i understand, it increases the rpm shift point slightly so you can get more power out of the engine. i know on most automatics, that they never actually redline when you floor it, they always shift before you get to redline. and this button overides that and allows the car to shift closer to redline.
not sure if subaru works the same way, but thats they way i understand it

Yeah I thought that is was he was talking about an "ETC" button all the Toyotas and Lexus's I have driven had that button and I thought Subaru's rendition of it was a "Power" button. But I dont know, I drive manuals.
