Things after going through the site today.....
Things I miss....
1. scooby snacks (I've been saving up for an Avatar!!!!) grrrrrr lol
2. trader feedback
Things are alittle more distracting or busy whatever you want to call it to read though, but I think I will get use to it in a couple of days.....
so if there is no more scooby snacks can I get an Avatar now??? I've already gone through my options and I can't put one in right now, How do I do it if I can??

Agreed. Alex is THE MAN for doing all this work upgrading to VB 3.0. A bunch of other forums that I'm a regular poster on did NOT have the transition go so smoothly. I'm amazed.
I like the new LOOK as far as aesthetics go. Some of the new VB 3.0 features are cool too (animated pulldown menus, etc.) but the usability is WAY DOWN for me. I have a hard time reading the posts, and staring at all the graphics gives me a headache.
It's like an old Countach. Looks sweet as hell from the outside, but you realize after driving one for a day that it's a lot better to appreciate than use.
Or maybe like going out with a supermodel with a *****y personality. She's great to look at, but you wouldn't want to have her around for the rest of your life.
Cliffs:
1. Amazed at the smoothness of the data transition. Bravo!
2. New features are cool.
3. Usability is WAY DOWN for me.
4. Stuff I'd fix:
White background hurts my eyes. Dark/black background usually works much better - with a contrasting text font and lack of graphics elements.
Post font too small.
Graphics are neat looking, but obtrusive.
Wasted space (margins, large graphic elements).
This is an example of a forum that doesn't LOOK nearly as good, but is VERY functional and that's really the point, right?

Here's an example of what's inside a thread:
It looks sort of bland at first, but it's really easy on the eyes and let's me get my post whoring business done as efficiently as possible!
Alex, either way I really appreciate the effort you put into the upgrade (and running the club in general).
Dos Svidanya!

Here's an example of the template that the folks at the vBulletin community forum use. It's light colored (if that's the desired look) but still seems easier on the eyes for some reason.
P.S. Being able to attach multiple images/files is GREAT!
Edit: I hosted the images in case y'all are lazy (since the attached images don't show up in the post)
note: I prefer the dark background with contrasting/light text myself. But then again I have weird taste.

Here's another example of the dark colors in action:
