Passenger Seat
I have a 2000 RS Coupe. When I bought the car (used) if my rear passenger on the passenger side of the car used the kick lever from the backseat, the seatback would fold forward and the entire seat would push forward with it, giving you easy exit from the back seat. Same deal if you were getting into the car from the passenger side, using the lever on the side of the seat would cause the seatback to fold and you could then slide the whole seat forward, toward the dash to allow easy entrance.
Well, recently those levers move the seatback but no longer slides the whole seat forward, I have to use the lever at the front of the seat to move it. I took it in to the dealership to be repaired and they're telling me that that is how it's supposed to work. So am I to believe that when the whole seat was moving foward, which made things very convenient, it was broken and now it's somehow fixed itself?
I guess this is my long winded way of asking how coupe owner's passenger seats function. Do they slide forward with the side and rear levers or do you have to reach around the front to move it forward.
Thanks.
