Cool

I like the new headlights, the make the front very agressive looking, Im not into the grill, it looks like an alfa romeo (maybe cause an ex-romeo designer did this car). You can definately see the European influences with this car, makes it look less like a rice-rocket (which is a good thing). Reminds me more of the '02-'03 style of WRX, this is one of those designs everyone just needs to get used to.

This is the first WRX that hasnt struck as an ugly car to me, im in love with all the styles, but they always started with ehhhhh... looks like ive found my match

It looks a bit more on the sophisticated side, and i agree with the euro influence. I like it, the lines flow better. Now i can count down the days until i purchase one next year.

Reason ive waited so long was because the WRX gets the 2.5L now... yum.. and i dont find the STi practical enough for my use, im a student and full time worker... i need sound deadening components haha

Looking at the rest of the car, that doesn't appear to be a complete overhaul. The body is still the same. I really like the looks of that silver RS though.

I've read that the generation after this new one will be a shortened legacy platform. The legacy is nice, but the impreza is the car they are known for, why bastardize it?

(one has to wonder if "bastardize" is really a word)

It might look nicer if the pillars and roofline were updated (Looks like the same ol GD midsection) instead of dressing it up with that mini-spoiler. Better yet, dump the rear doors and bring us an all new Coupe-R STI.

Actually now that I look at it some more it looks a lot like the Subaru made SAAB 9-2.

It looks better than the current front end for sure. But why should a Subaru look European? When the '02 debuted I thought it was great that a Japanese car company had the guts to make their car look Japanese. What a concept! It was the best execution yet and true to the bulldog nature of the car. My verdict: better looking, but less Subaru.

is it true that they getting rid of the 2.0L on the impreza and making them all 2.5L. If so than i'll save up and get an '06 WRX if its gon be a 2.5L if not i'll get the RS and turbo it myself
