nice get acknowledged
When im driving to the city on the highway i come accross a lot nice cars, ie: m3, 360, 911 and etc. usually the drivers seem to be true enthusiast and not just a rich b@stard who lieks to show off their money. And they drive moderately fast, and when i'm keeping up with them and go side by side, most of them nod their head or give me thumbs up. I really dont know what they mean, but im hoping that is a form of acknowledgement for our SUBARUS.....tell me ur story when u got props for ur SUBARU by another super car....!!!!

I usaually only get other subaru owners giving me thumbs up but they do go out of there way to let you know they like your car. once I was driving on the opposite side of the road and I saw a subaru on the other side. they guy practicly hung out the window to give me a thumbs up. Love throughout the subaru community. gotta love that.

i got into a conversation w/ a guy that was driving a viper @ a gas station. He said "is that car really as fast as they say it is..." and so on. he seemed to really appreciate the car; looks like the word is spreading-- if it was six months from now i would have raced him (vishnu stg-2...come to me)

There isn't a whole lot of Subaru love here in CO. I'll give waves and get no response most of the time. Now I'll only wave to other modded Subies, and I get a good response. You would think it would be better considering there are more Subies here than in any other state...

I was driving to the local autozone and some guy in a shelby 427 cobra heard my car pulling in and when i stoped he started giving me props about how fast it is for a four cylinder car. His car was built with a supercharger and all that good stuff. I felt really good after that.

Hawaii is really cool about that kind of thing. When I first got my Sti i didn't know about I-club and I was amazed at how many people threw me the shaka. But I also get lots of stupid looks from guys in camaros/firebirds/mustangs and the occasional riced out neon.

I wish I was feeling more of this community love. I live in the rural North Dakota, right next to Canada, in a town of about 2000 people. I've seen somewhere around 10 WRX's in real life, besides my own, and most of those were ones I looked saw at a dealership. At least there's an old lady in a forester in town who waves to me.
Every once in awhile I head to the "city" .. its about 20k people, 80 miles from here, and I see some nice cars there, but never anything close enough to even get a glance, let alone a thumbs up.
I went to Europe this last summer, wish I would've had the subaru with there. I became very accustomed to seeing nice cars drive by me all the time.
I'm going to college in a fairly large city next fall, maybe I'll be able to find a few enthusiests there. Until then, I'll just read about the fun you guys have :P
