yeah, so some of the decals changed... hopefully they'll put a #1 on the Petters door and replace the #8 Tommi Makinen version with a #2 Miko Hirvonen one.

The grey parts on the figure represent what has been changed for this version but the finished toy will be fully painted.

Mine has a #7 and Solberg's and Mills' names on it. No # 8. Would have anything to do with the fact that mine is a metal one?

The metal ones come in number 7 and number 8. The plastic ones only come in 8.
