New to the board....
What's up everyone? My name is Tony. I'm new to the board. I've read stuff on here in the past, but this is the first time I've posted.
I've got a '00 Supercharged Steeda GT with a lot of suspension, a vortech, 18" ultralites, Sparco Torinos, Steeda 13" brakes, etc.
The car put out 391rwhp & 391 rwtq with 30lb/hr injectors, stock, tune, stock MAF and stock exhaust.
I've always liked Imprezas and I'm looking to buy one. I was thinking about a '00+ WRX, but I'm not sure if there is anything I should look out for or a certain year that is easier to mod, etc.
Are they hard to make fast? I was thinking of doing a couple of basic stuff like a BOV, turn up the stock boost, lowering springs/coilovers and wheels and a pair of Sparcos, maybe even a cat-back.
I just want to be about to turn it back to stock if a problem occurs and I have to take it in for warranty.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

make sure to check out the regional forums
well, the first USDM wrx was here in 02, so you can't get an 00 unless you somenhow find one
its pretty easy to mod these cars, doesn't cost a super amount to get started, but when you're gettin into super high-power, then yes it'll cost you

Welcome Tony. The WRX is great. Just remember when you start creeping toward 400hp the drivetrain will hurt you the most. Other wise it is pretty stout. Clutch and flywheel help troubles and a limited slipt front diff is nice too! Ohhh! i just got a chill!

P.S. are there any free mods you can do to them for some free HP?
