you know what i never really understood? why do they call cars like "WRX" or "STi"? who comes up with those? not complaining, STi and WRX are sick names, but they definetely are not a mainstream idea....

They arent just letters, they stand for something.

WRX = World Rally Cross - the basis for the car.
STi = Subaru Technica Internationale - The equivalent of SVT for Ford or AMG for Mercedes

Sounds like an awful lot like a WRX with the NA 2.5L. Gawd, I just hope they don't put a fake hood scoop on it.

That's Subaru Tecnica International. No H in tecnica and no E at the end.

World Rally eXperimental is also the most widely accepted name.
