The Legacy had a twin turbo, but I don't think it made that much power. You'd be better off with an STi RA motor, one turbo but serious power, upwards of 320 bhp.

Talking

Holy crap man! a EJ20TT in a 914! WOW! man that thing will haul!

OK, now that I am done drooling I can answer your questions...
1. The EJ20TT is from the Legacy B4 RSK and Legacy GT-B (wagon) and it does make about 280-300 hp.
2. There are quite a few performance parts for it out there but you would have to use japanese sites to find them considering I think there is one other car in the US with that engine! One of your biggest issues that I can see though is the Intercooler placement and finding a intercooler that will fit.
3. Check the Australia Subaru clubs for the Wiring diagram.

Man, if you do this swap you will be the envy of many people (including me!) on this board! GOOD LUCK AND WELCOME TO I-CLUB!

Porsche is definitely German. Just because the name means something in another language, it doesn’t mean it’s from that country. Chevy Nova for example, nova means “no go” in Spanish, but Chevy is not a Spanish company.

wow, no offense, but you're the FIRST person i've ever hear who thought Porsche was Italian. Even my friends who aren't into cars knew it's a German co.

Porsche is so German that Hitler commisioned Dr. Ferdinand Porsche to build the first "volkswagen" (people's car) i.e. the Beetle.
