Need Help My Alarm!
hey guys i just got a new wrx last week, and i got the optional alarm system upgrade, and when i use my spare key to open my door my alarm goes off... why is that if its that key to my car, and my new remote is on order and they told me 3-4 weeks, if i open the ddoor with my spare key will i beable to start the car even tho the alarm is going off? and how can i turn it off with my spare key? anyone any suggestions? please help...

I'm a little confused. Are you saying you can open the car w/ the alarm armed w/o the alarm going off with your normal key or you just don't have the key fob/remote with you spare key to turn off the alarm?
If the alarm is going off and you have a key, put the key in the ignition and turn it on and off three times. It will turn off the alarm and let you start the car.

Yes you can disarm the alarm w/ the valet key. The valet key will get you in the door and the ignition but not the glovebox or trunk. I think you only need to turn the key to run 3X and not all the way to start. But it wouldn't hurt to have your foot on the clutch. I'm sure this is all in the owners manual too

maybe you guys can help me out... i got the upgraded security alarm with mine and and cant get the alarm to sound by hitting or shaking my car....iv gotten the horn to beep when i lock or unlock but the alarm has never actually sounded....is there something special i need to do...or did i get scammed by the dealer
