Question Idea

Im not sure about this but i was thinking..

1995 impreza lx AWD

upgrade with

Rims
Sti Spoiler
CatBack system
Uppipe
downpipe
Short throw shifter
Intercooler kit
Cold air intake
Trunk
Hood
Body kit
turbo

if i were to do this on a 110 hp 1.8 liter boxer engine. what would be the outcome. seriously

well only the catback, uppipe, downpipe, intercooler, intake, and the turbo is going to affect the power. then its going to vary a lot depending on the turbo. im not really sure but im guessing a 80hp gain?

alright. im thinking bout using the frame and pulling an newer outbaack engine or something from a junkyard and adding the mods to a newer and better engine.

think it would be a lower end turbo.

I dont see why the stock engine wouldnt do just fine. Getting more power the the wheels wont do much good if youre just spinning your wheels in the snow.

I've merged your two threads asking a similar question in different forums. Choosing the most appropriate forum helps keep posts organized, thanks. I've also re-titled your thread to better convey what your question actually is.

Have you considered the smog legal route of taking your car to a shop like LIC in the north Bay Area for a complete WRX EJ20 turbo engine swap? Looks like stock, runs like stock (WRX).
