My first WRX test drive
So over the weekend I test drove for the first time a 2004 WRX.(not an STi) I must say I was more impressed than I had anticipated. The dealer actually took me to these nearby paved hills with all kinds of twists and turns that I could really test out the performance. I was very impressed with the road handling and acceleration on not only flat areas but, hill climbs too. I did not feel even a semblance of a struggle going up hill. Down hill full throttle felt like a d@mn rocket! The dealer even let me slam on the brakes at 60 miles an hour and it stopped a lot quicker than I expected and never made a squeal.(I have driven cars with anti-lock brakes and slammed on the brakes as hard as I could and they still locked up at first) Let's just say I won't be buying the car I personally test drove since I basically broke it in, in about 15 minutes but, I will be purchasing a new 2004 black WRX as soon as I sell my truck. If anyone has some good advice or pointers regarding the purchase of a new WRX I would greatly appreciate it. I will try and post pictures as soon as I get it. Now I can't keep my mind off of it.

check the paint
Really give the paint a good look. I purchased my blk wgn and got so excited that I simply forgot to inspect the paint. It wasn't until my first wax job that I saw the orange peel on the lower half of the doors and quarter pannels. Not a huge deal but if you get a chance, just give it a once over.
