What is it you would like to have the car do differently? Is it a certain kind improvement in performance or appearance... and how much do you want to spend on it right now? Welcome to the pain of having black...I love black but man my car looks hella dirty right now. I have a black '03 Wrx Sedan. I say lower it first and get better tires.

Check out the various tech forums for the Impreza on i-Club. There are forums specifically for engine, suspension, and wheels & tires. Each forum has a Search feature that can often yield helpful results with just a couple of well-chosen keywords.
