just bought an AEM short ram and....
I just picked up a Blue AEM Short Ram Intake and i am not sure if its a defect on the pipe or not but i cant seem to get it running if it is put on right. If i turn the pipe backwards, then the way the MAF sensor sits in doesnt keep the car running but when we put it on backwards,it runs. Let me Post a pictures. Any help would be appreciative.

it's kind of hard to make out the whole scenario from the pic.
The biggest gripe about aftermarket parts is not everything fits exactly. If you can check your original box and see the "date of manufacture", you may have picked up one of their earlier stages intake. If so, it may have been a defective "prototype" issue.
