Incentives extended...
The 0% financing has been extended till April 30th. Does anybody know where we can find out of the dealer incentives have been extended as well? I sure hope I can get either the WRX or 2.5RS during this period. I want the WRX but the 2.5RS is more affordable.

Don't trust Edmunds, I almost lost money on the new car and definitely lost money on the trade-in because I used it as a pricing guideline. They are slow in updating pricing info and I am not sure where they get their trade-in values from. I would try www.carsdirect.com for getting a more realistic pricing, they have information about incentives too.

It's marketing. Remember all the 0% stuff after Sept 11, 2001? "Get it by the end of the year or you'll be out of luck!" Well, it's still around...
Remember, not everyone gets 0%...it depends heavily on your credit rating, how long you want the fiancing to be for and how much you can put down.

At least another month
Go here www.cars101.com . This guy has all sorts of wierd stuff. Jan and feb of this year were the worst car sales months in the past 8 years, for most, if not all car dealers ( I walked into a dealer last week and paid $100 over invoice for a new 2.5R.) The saleslady came up to me and said here is the price! I was only in the dealership for about 3 min! No haggleing or anything, I was amazed. So this is why subaru is on the 0% kick. My old dealer (I bought 2 subarus in the last year) said they would never go to 0% financing because "Everybody wants em." Well I guess this is why he dosent work thier any more.
Hope this helps

Yeah, I know that not everyone gets 0%. What would qualify? I can't imagine me not being able to get it. Wife and I have good jobs, no debt at all on anything... (Don't own a house yet because we have not decided where we want to live yet...) Currently own all cars, actually never financed a car yet so this will be a new adventure...

(In most cases) To qualify for 0% financing you have to be in the top tier of the credit rating system (sometime the second tier works as well), what this mean's is that your credit rating is (near) perfect.
Also if Im not mistaken it is only available for 36 month (which actually isn't bad since in some cases companies only offer 0% for 24 months).
If I am mistaken, Im sure someone will correct me....LOL
