Try switching to new tires and see if you have the same problem. If you do then your doing something wrong but hey you got better tires (hopefully you bought something better than the re-92s)

Instead of critisizing these people who would like nothing more then a fair explanation answer there questions. First of all if you have ever watched Pro Rally on Speed Channel you would notice they intentionally slide there vehicles around corners and while they are sliding they are on the gas the whole time. Hence => wet road + gassing it + corner = traction loss, But notice they turn there steering wheels intentionally in the direction they want to go. Look at this from a different point of view, Ever ride a motorcycle? When approaching a corner you intentionally turn very breifly to the outside corner to create a lean so you can ease the cycle through the inside corner more easily. The same effect with Motorcycles is used for entering into corners like your U-Turn With your Suby. If you are more interested in this type of performance I suggest trying a driving school which can show you how to slide your vehicle through the corners with ease. Bob Bondurant Schools now offers this program and also Tim O'Neil School for Rally Driving can also show you how to slide your vehicle around corners. I hope this helps

Man, some of you guys are mean. It's most likely your tires. If you have any doubts check out the survey feedback on RE92's at Tirerack. In the words of Arnold "they're horrible"

Its not just the tires. But I am sure bald tires didnt help. But I got brand new tires on my subie and I look forward to rain days. Its pretty easy to break traction on a wet road. Left turns are the easiest cause you can get into boost and get the weight of the car to swing you out easier. Just dont give it as much gas next time. Or learn how to control the slide (more fun)
