Ever since the new i-club redesign was launched a few months ago, the server/application response time seems to have slowed a bit. Anyone else expericence this?

 

Probably the added image load and the new php scripting. This is a heavily used place at least we dont time out all together.

The server load spikes sometimes depending on the # of simultaneous people online and the stuff they do. Right now for exmple, we got 260 people online, which is 100 higher than usually.

I'm actually Chinese (even though I speak Japanese too), and my 56k is free. You do the math

 

Understood.. That would do it. It almost seems like there are long running threads, requests or queries. I am on high speed cable with a 2 Mbit/sec connection. All other sites load fine, except for espn sometimes. That's a damn heavy site. Anywho, it's no biggie. I was just curious if anyone else noticed it.
