my question really is what are the worst things you can do.
ie dumbest, most worthless, and dangerous you all have ever heard off.
you know some guy i know knows this dudede that did this thing. that type of bs.

CAI and/or BOV on a stock WRX

I know it is for an STI but I'm sure you would see some gains.

 

Also you may want to look into getting a fuel pump and a tune.

 

I'm going to buy an 08 STI and run a 200 shot of nitrous with no tune and no other mods but I'll use the intercooler sprayer to make everything ok.

 

no i amm lookin for bad ways of doing things, sometimes it is much simplier of a way to look at a problem.

Race gas injection on the intercooler, simply replace the windshield fluid with race gas/jet fuel/nitrous/etc.

 

Tap the cylinder wall for the egt probe.

 

Relocate the MAF to the tailpipe.

 

Adjusting your wastegate with no tuning.

 

i thought to use a chicken band to hold the actuator on the wastegate shut, i think that would really deliver more power right.?
or get the tornado.

 

Take off the intake box and turbo inlet and just let raw air enter the turbo (I've seen this on a street car, and a lot of dragsters do this)

Run a home-made manual boost controller WITH a "cracked" AccessPort also turning up boost AND meth injection (saw this on a 2004 STI)

Dump random amounts of acetone, tolulene or injector cleaner (the cheapo stuff they sell at Circle K) in your tank

what is the home made boost controller look like and how is it made?
the acetone i heard actually can work in some applications?
