had a 01RS BRP GM6 4EAT, then 02RS MBP 5SPD, now 98 Mazda Protege ES 4EAT. 
no I didn't total my cars. Sold the first one for 5SPD, sold the second one for a condo and got the Protege for 'free'. Thinknig about selling the protege too.
