Jetta VR6...for about another month. Then, I dont know what. I nearly bought a 98 Wagon a couple weeks ago, my GF interveined and decided it was "horrid" looking. I wasnt a fan of white/gray two tone paint, but I she's made it clear that she feels hodd scoops on these cars look rediculous and she does not want me to get one. If she we didnt live together I probably wouldnt take her into cnsideration, but were in the "making decisions together mode" and a car is a pretty big decision for a couple. I'll probably get an accord or a solara.

my amount of sex depends on her happienes. You will learn one day my friend. Do not **** off your vagina pipeline by making extensive purchases she does not agree on.
Besides, I dont want her spending money on stupid crap I dont want, and theres alot more stuff she could spend it on than I could. Like pink blenders and place setting and crap like that.

extensive suby parts purchasing = happy me = unhappy gf = very little if none at all sex = maybe i shouldnt purchase more suby parts
along with my suby i drive a 97 Ford Ranger...helps with hauling all the big parts and its nice to drive an auto here and there, especially in commute traffic

cbordeaux, you have a point with the not wanting to **** her off, but she objected to the HOOD SCOOP? Because she thought it looks "RIDICULOUS"? See, I understand "making decisions together mode" all too well, but I would draw the line right there. See, not wanting her to get a pink blender is fine. Pink doesn't DO anything, and you can get blenders in other colors. Also, it's generally understood that pink is "girly" and you would become infected with cooties if she brought a pink blender home. The hood scoop is non-optional, and it comes with the car. If that is the car you want, then I say make her deal with the hood scoop.
If she complains, explain the part about the blender, and tell her how it would be like you objecting to a blender because you think it's ugly, and telling her to get something more sensible like a bread board instead. Will a bread board do the job of a blender? Well no, that's the point. Right?

by the way... for this poll to really mean anything as far as comparisons are concerned, you need to have one option say "I currently drive a Subaru."
That way at least you can see how many people are VOTING. Right now, ONLY people that don't own Subaru's are voting. How can you guage how many people are actually viewing this? You can't right now.
Just trying to help with some logic.

I drive a 99 VW GTI VR6 (New body style, MK4). Was going to get a 04 WRX, but I lost my job and havent found a new one yet. My wife also want to get a Forester, but she changes her mind on cars often.
