How long did your original car battery last you?

i sold my first 2 cars before the battery went dead.
but my Mazda Protege lasted about 90k. But I got my current suby used at 90k, it already had a new battery and don't know when it was replaced.

i'm due to change out mine (OEM batt on '03 wrx wgn @61k) VERY soon. it's kinda struggling at start-up. but surprisingly, it didn't perform as bad as i imagined at the cabin last wknd (~4000' ... a.m. temp in the mid 20s).
*edit* bought wgn in Dec '02 & NO phatty system or anything special to add a significant load on the batt. *edit*

Car Info: Wish it was still my WRB STI
I just started a thread a few days ago about car batteries. Mine is on it's way out apparently and it's an '04. Looks like Costco is the best place to get a battery b/c of price and warranty. $56.99 plus tax plus core exchange of $5.
BTW, if anyone needs a 25% off coupon at Kragen, PM me with your email and I'll send it to you.

Car Info: 02 WRX wagon=dead; rollin' in a Craptastic Camry!
Mine lasted a little more than 3 years - 46K miles.
Battery life depends on many different factors such as ambient conditions, how long and fast you typically drive the car, etc.

my battery on my 06 for some reason kept taking a **** after I fully drained it once...................
From what I can tell that is the worst thing you can do, leave the light on but not check it for a week so you end up taking ever last bit of juice out. Seems to ruin batteries sometimes...............my 06 had 4900 on it when the batt was not worth dealing with.
