rev it up to about 6 grand...do it quickly....
then just let the clutch up normally like u would from a stop....mabye a lil faster, once the clutch is up 30% or right before the friction spot...just hold the gas down all the way and continue to let the clutch up.

remember...when u shift...be smooth and dont bang gears
shift like you would normally from first to second....clutch down, move it to the gate, wait for the gear and the engine speed to match up, when u feel the shilfter getting sucked in....just put it in and clutch up smoothly.
nail the gas and do it all over again

the thing quik is probably talking about it brake boost. This is for freeway racing. You brake while giving gas to maintain speed. Look at your boost gauge and you will see your boost rise. When ready to go release the brake and go. Gotta practice to get it right.

Even with the stock tranny set up? That sounds quite mean to the stock stuff, I could see it with a beefed up set up.

Well i don't have my wrx yet but when i get it i plan on launching it. Not every day, but like a couple times a month when i want to race someone. When launching a wrx, do problems occur from doing it frequently or what causes it? To hard a launch if so what rpm is a safe range. Will i be fine if i only do it a couple times a month?

Well it can sometimes just happen, the more times you do it the more changes it has of happening. I don't drop mine in hard because I want mine to last, which dropping in on it will not help.
