high pitched whistle

I got an uppipe put on not too long ago and was wondering if the noise I hear now is a leak. When I get on the gas and go into boost, there is a high pitched whistle that increases in pitch as the boost builds and car accelerates. OK, now the odd part. It goes away in a few minutes AND it doesnt matter if the car is hot or cold. I can drive all day, let the engine sit off for 5 minutes and drive again and the whistle is back and fades out until no more noise. There are no performance issues so far and the dealer said bring it in when I can. But my concern is if the turbo is failing and I have an uppipe and MBC they may not warranty. So I was hoping someone knows what this may be.

Ya, it could be a bad gasket.

Well I've got a complete turbo-back exhaust (TurboXS) and when the car is cool the whistling sound the turbo makes seems to be louder than after the car has been running for a bit, the noise stays and fluctuates with the turbo so I know it's the turbo.

If it's the turbo sound then perhaps you can only hear it when the turbo is cool and when it heats up the noise just completely goes away?

I'll check gaskets. It just seems wierd that it goes away after a few minutes of driving until i turn the engine off.
