Hello, new member
new to the site, not new to cars. I use to own a accord that I built with a h22a motor swap and turboed. www.accordclub.com/lastmotorpics .
click here for the vid. its a quick time, about 4.3 MBs. Best idea to play is right click and hit 'save as' www.accordclub.com/subby . Note the clutch slipping and having to get off of it in 2nd so it would grab again, lol.
went to the track last night before work. 1st run i clutch out launched it like i use to since the car didnt make enough power to just dump it, boy was that the wrong idea since the car is making more power now. kinda glazed the clutch a little for the night, so i was having hooking problems my other 2 runs. 3rd run being the best, revved it between 5000-5500, took off, little slip in 1st, then i short shifted into 2nd at about 6300rpm to hope it wouldnt slip as bad, still slipped a tad, then hooked perfect 3rd and 4th. with all that in mind i still managed the following
1.86 60ft
8.16 1/8th
86.88 mph
12.74 1/4
107.6 mph
also the car had almost 1/2 tank of gas, spare, etc. im going to drive it awhile to let the clutch get a little better then take it back out. with the clutch grabbing all the way and less gas in the car, i should manage a 1.7 60ft and probably a 12.3-12.4 1/4 mile, and remember the following:
STOCK turbo
STOCK intercooler
STOCK tranny
STOCK ECU
STOCK boost

uuhhhh...
nice, i might be a little slow, but are you talkin about two cars here, or just the accord? i would normally gather from your username that you are referring to an 03 WRX, but your post left me a little confused. if you're now driving a rex, then welcome to the fam. 12.3-12.4 in the quarter seems fast for a stock rex if my memory serves me correctly. But i've never taken mine to the drags, so i'll have to trust what you guys say... later

welcome to the board. what mods do you have to get you there with stock boost and stock turbo? i don't really believe that you can hit 12.7's with a stage 2 or below setup. i've seen 13.4's and thats just pushing the stock turbo with stock boost to its limits.

10-20 people there could vouch what ive got done, basically exhaust mods with open downpipe, intake and a 40 shot. with a better clutch, it should 1.7 60 ft and run a 12.4-12.5. my car was running 13.5-13.6s consistantly without the nitrous. there are a lot of in house prototyped parts on this car that we have developed and that are now available to the public.... Like bell mouth downpipes that out preform all on the market and cost 150-200 less then normal, etc.
thanks for the props on the accord as well, it was all hand built as well.
