GET YOUR 2003's WHILE THEY LAST
I just bought mine for 20,500 yesterday @Livermore Subaru. No options, but hey...
They're clearing out all the 2003 models! June is the last shipment, and from here on out it's all '04s which they are asking like 28,800 for. IF YOU BARGAIN WITH THE SALESMEN, they know they HAVE TO SELL. I was quoted @ 21,800 at first which is already cheap but I'm such a cheapskate I kept on haggling...
So you can get a brand new '03 or '04 both with 10 miles on them for 20, or 28 thousand dollars. NOW'S THE TIME!!!

Awesome!
I know the feeling I got mine yesterday 65 miles on it, for around $21,400. Has the spoiler, short throw shifter, armrest extension, turbo gauge, and upgraded security system :-)
Have fun with the car!
Remember the break in period for 1000 miles :-( I hate it, I accidently went to 4500 -5000 rpms once... everything else has been changing gears around 3000-4000rpms.. The car is screaming to be driven, kinda stinks that it can't for the time being of 920 more miles...lol
Gotta love rexs

Nice! you got all the options...all I got was a base model, o well.
What do you have in mind for the future of the car?
I think I'm keeping mine stock so I can run stock in AutoX.
And I'm gonna really screw with my spring settings and tire pressures so I can get mad understeer yo!

The 04's are going for cheaper than 28 grand. But again, that is a great deal you got. For the 1500 cheaper that you paid you can use that money to upgrade the suspension and wheels so you can autocross anyways, so I wouldn't sweat not getting any options.

Kelly Subaru of Chattanooga, TN, has 7 or 8 03 WRX cars right now. They are running a commercial that solely advertises them. They are advertising them saying all are below ~$23,700. Probably can get 0.0% financing too. Good time to buy an 03 if you can do without the 04 bells and whistles.
