gas tank and Tranny problems fwd to awd

gas tank and Tranny problems fwd to awd
I'm under going the swap and a few problems have come up. the first being I can't get my old tranny out everything is disconnected but its stuck on there and we can't get it to go the 2nd problem being the AWD gas tank has more hoses and I'm not sure where they all go also the fuel cut valve according to chiltion is broke I called subaru they said theres no such thing and they called it something else it sits on top of the gas tank and theres 2 of them my FWD tank doesn't have them so do I really need them>

for the Tranny, You need to get a straight pick crow bar, and just pry it little by little, back off the bolts. Remember to keep support under the tranny. A jack with a 2x8x12 works or something like that. You just aren't breaking it off the 4 bolts that it's sitting on. You must remember that it's gonna do straight back first, then it can drop down. You have to be pretty vigorious with it. And double check all connections and bolts.
